I’m a Head of Sixth Form with over 25 years’ experience in secondary and 16-19 education, working closely with students and families through the crucial Post 16 years. Every day, I see first-hand the challenges young people face — from managing workload and revision to making decisions about university, apprenticeships and their future.

I created Post16Parents to support parents navigating this often confusing and high-pressure stage. Too often, parents are expected to guide their child through sixth form or college without clear, practical advice. My aim is to change that — by offering honest, straightforward guidance that helps you feel informed, confident and able to support your child effectively.
